Can I get one in colors that are not on the list?

Yes. The order form covers two body colors and twelve heart colors, which is twenty-four combinations. Anything outside that is a custom order, and Kim takes custom requests. She can work in different fabrics, different heart colors, and different sizes. Use the custom order form below, call the shop, or send a message on Facebook, and describe what you want. Kim confirms the price and the turnaround before she starts. A custom doll usually takes the same one to two weeks as a standard one.

Are these really handmade?

Yes. Each doll is cut, sewn, stuffed and embroidered in the shop, not ordered in from a factory. The face carries one round eye, one X eye and a stitched mouth line, and the heart is embroidered onto the chest. Because Kim makes each doll separately, small differences in stitch placement and shape are normal and expected. Two dolls in the same colors look like siblings, not copies. Dolls are made after your order arrives, so allow one to two weeks before it ships.

Is this a real voodoo doll, or a gag gift?

This is a novelty gift, not a religious or ritual object. Nothing about the doll is connected to any spiritual practice. People buy them as desk mascots, as gag gifts for a co-worker or a friend, as Halloween decoration, and as a small handmade present that costs less than a greeting card and lasts a lot longer.
