Do you offer local pickup?
Yes. Choose Local Pickup at checkout to collect your order at our Belle Vernon shop. Some items, like A Cheerful Giver jar candles, are in-store pickup only.
Do you ship orders?
Yes, we ship across the United States. Ready-to-ship items leave our shop within 1 to 3 business days, and shipping costs are calculated at checkout. See our Shipping Policy.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. We offer free standard shipping on all domestic orders over $75. Standard shipping otherwise arrives 3 to 7 business days after your order leaves our shop.
Do you offer express shipping?
Yes. Expedited shipping arrives 1 to 3 business days after your order ships. Expedited speed applies to transit time only, not to production time on made-to-order items.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship within the United States only. We will update this if international shipping becomes available.
What is your return policy?
You have 30 days from delivery to request a return. Returns are issued as Krafty Bandit store credit, except for items damaged or defective due to our error, which are refunded or replaced. Custom, clearance, sale, gift card, and personal-care items are final sale. See our Refund Policy.
Do you have a rewards program?
Yes. Join our free Bandit Bucks rewards program to earn points on your purchases and save on future orders.
Do you have discounts or promotions?
We run seasonal sales and a clearance section, and Bandit Bucks members earn points toward savings. Join our email list or follow us on social media for current offers.
Do you offer alterations or repairs?
No, we do not offer clothing alterations or repairs. We do offer custom embroidery and personalization, and we turn a loved one’s clothing into memory bears, quilts, and pillows. Start a custom order.

Yes. Krafty Bandit gift cards are available, a great option when you want to let someone choose.

Do you make custom orders?
Yes. We make custom memory bears, memory quilts, traditional quilts, blankets, pillows, fabric projects, handbags, and personalized embroidery, each handcrafted in our Belle Vernon shop. Start a custom order.
What is a memory bear?
A memory bear is a keepsake teddy bear handcrafted from a loved one's clothing, such as a favorite flannel or a baby's first outfit, so you can keep a cherished memory close.
What is the difference between a memory bear and a memory quilt?
A memory bear is a teddy bear sewn from one or two garments. A memory quilt is a blanket pieced from several garments, often around a dozen shirts for a lap quilt. Both turn a loved one's clothing into a keepsake.
What is a memory pillow?
A memory pillow is a keepsake pillow made from a loved one's clothing, another meaningful way to keep them close.
How do I order a custom memory bear or quilt?
Use our custom order form. Upload photos of the clothing or fabric you would like used, and we will follow up with a quote and timeline. You can also email hello@kraftybandit.com.
How long does a custom memory bear or quilt take?
Custom handmade pieces take about 2 to 4 weeks to make before they ship, since each one is made to order. We confirm your exact timeline when you place the order.
How much does a custom memory bear or quilt cost?
Pricing depends on the size, design, and any embroidery, so we give you a clear quote before we begin. Send your idea to hello@kraftybandit.com or use the custom order form for an estimate.
How many clothing items do I need for a memory bear or quilt?
A memory bear usually takes one or two garments. A lap or throw quilt often uses around a dozen shirts, and larger quilts need more. Send a photo or list and we will recommend an amount.
Can I mail in clothing for a custom keepsake?
Yes. Start with the custom order form or email us so we can plan your piece, then mail your garments to Krafty Bandit, 127 Speer Street, Belle Vernon, PA 15012. We accept mail-in items from anywhere in the United States.
Can you make a memory keepsake from baby clothes, a uniform, or worn clothing?
Yes. Baby outfits, military uniforms, flannels, and well-worn favorites all make meaningful keepsakes, and we work around stains or thin spots where we can. Share photos to get started.
Can you add a name or date to a keepsake?
Yes. We can add custom embroidery such as a name, date, initials, or a short message to most memory bears, quilts, and other keepsakes.

How do I care for a handmade quilt?
Wash it gently and infrequently on a cold, gentle cycle and dry low or air dry to protect the stitching and fabric. See our quilt care guide.
