Which colorway is this listing, and will my pair match the photo?
This listing is the black colorway, shown in the first photo: a black base with dark teal and green print panels and a black lace bib. The other photos in the gallery show the same style made up in a sage green colorway, so use the first photo as your reference for what ships. Beyond color, patchwork means no two pairs are identical. Blue Sky cuts each pair from whatever panels are in that run, so print placement and the mix of solid and patterned panels change from pair to pair. If the exact print matters to you, message the shop and Kim will photograph the pair in your size before you order.
How are boho overalls supposed to fit?
Boho overalls fit loose on purpose. The waist is not fitted, the legs are cut wide, and the length is meant to reach the ankle or brush the top of the foot. Order your normal size. Do not size up hoping for more room, because the extra width is already built in and sizing up mostly adds length. If you are between sizes, take the smaller one. The shoulder straps take up the slack for height, so a shorter frame can wear the same size as a taller one.
What do I wear under patchwork overalls?
A plain top under patchwork overalls keeps the pattern from fighting itself. A fitted black or cream tank, a ribbed short-sleeve tee, or a thin long-sleeve in one solid color all work. Pull the color of your top from one of the panels rather than adding a new one. In cooler weather a solid long-sleeve knit under the bib and a cardigan over the top carries the same pair into fall. Skip anything printed underneath.
